La Confirmación, en efecto imprime en el alma una marca espiritual indeleble, el "carácter" (cf DS 1609), que es el signo de que Jesucristo ha marcado al cristiano con el sello de su Espíritu revistiéndolo de la fuerza de lo alto para que sea su testigo (cf Lc 24, 48-49).
